You’ve studied voice, you’ve learned to act, but when you stand up to perform it all goes out the window! Singer-actors will learn how to have the time of their lives when they sing by discovering how to personally connect to the material. Lead by a skilled, experienced teacher of both singing and acting, you’ll gain experience performing the song in front of people, and practice dealing with audition anxiety through relaxation, concentration and a focus on communication. In this ongoing class, we’ll work on preparation, interpretation and presentation. Technique is meant to be a stepping stone to expression - technique frees you to have fun! Pianist provided. Participants must have some prior singing training.
